Last Shift

It was too late at night.

We were a team of 4 working with US clients.

Completely fed up with the client.

He kept a late call at the office at 2:00 am.

Client in Call :

“So guys working late again Hope you are having fun. So There is one more last thing to be done please check your mail”.

My team lead sees the mail and responded immediately on the call.

Sir this will take at least 3 days of effort this will not be completed even if we sit the whole night.

It's already too late for us and we had started early morning at 8.

(Client not listening to any of the things and replying...)

“So please get started or else things might get horrifying for all of you” he replied and hanged up the call.

“Great now this too,” said Nikhil.

"To hell with this we should not do this", said Anujeet.

The rest two of us were silent.

I didn’t know what to say,

So I got up took my bottle and was walking towards the aqua guard.

Suresh seeing this wait I am too coming.

Suresh on the way “What did he mean by horrifying?”.

“I don’t know he might escalate I guess”.

“Anyways I am leaving”

“Ya me too”.

As we got back to our desk.

Both of them were not in place.

I just moved forward to see Anujeet's desk if his bag is there, Yes its there and then looked back…

Suresh disappeared.

What the hell!!!.

Suresh I called.

I started looking at the whole floor and found no one.

So I went outside to the smoking area.

And saw three of them standing on the edge of the fence.

I shouted Guys What the hell…

As soon as I got closer to them Suresh and Nikhil jumped off the roof…

Ohh shit!!!

Anujeet was holding to the pole…

I quickly went aside.

"Anujeet!!! stop it what the f@3k are you doing."

He said, “It's not something I…..”

And the pole broke off...

I saw him falling, and as soon as his head hit the ground.

My legs got out of control as if it is not mine and I was standing at the top of the fence.

I was shouting for help!!!

My body was not responding to me.

While controlling my legs I slipped and I fell with my head upside down straight from the 13th floor...I could feel my body in the air with no balance...As soon as I hit the ground My eyes went blind and I felt my skull-crushing, popping out my brains all over my face. 

I was trying so hard to open my eyes that...

F*@@@@@K I opened my eyes

"Check your mail," said Anujeet.

The client is going to kill us I guess, he has kept a call at 2:00 am.

It's going to be a horrific night.
